BSNL planning to launch global roaming services for their customers
Government owned Telecom Company BSNL has said that they are planning to global roaming facilities in collaboration with about 400 foreign operators.
The company has already almost ruled out the possibility of having national roaming arrangements with private mobile players in the domestic market.
A company representative said: “BSNL is looking to establish agreements and thereafter launch commercial roaming with around 400 foreign operators including some priority operators.”
BSNL has already negotiated, finalized and signed agreements with 136 foreign operators in 90 countries. And they have also already launched commercial roaming with 68 foreign operators in 50 countries.
